DMS View Plus

Where your DMS View users also need the option to ‘Book Out’ files for editing, and then ‘Book In’ the updated files from within the same DMS View web interface, you need the DMS View Plus module.

The DMS View Plus Module is an extension of the DMS View web service, offering users with a DMS Edit Licence the ability to 'Book Out' and 'Book In' DMS Documents from within DMS View.

For AutoCAD DWG, Microsoft Word DOCX / DOCM and Microsoft Excel XLSX / XLSM file types, DMS View delivers the same meta-data updating and PDF creation features of the core DMS product. Utilising these features alongside the 'Book Out' and 'Book In' tools allow you to build automation in to the web activity of your DMS View Plus users, to seamlessly update the document properties from the DMS Data Card and create new PDFs at the same time.

All this automation ensures the meta-data within these documents is always controlled by DMS, updated to the latest information, and versions of documents available for viewing by others are always maintained at the latest version.
